INTRODUCING….your new allotment administrator.

For those of you who were unable to join us, we had a very productive meeting on Thursday 21st July. You can view the minutes here (http://bit.ly/oJNaus). During the meeting I, Ben, was appointed allotment administrator, taking over from the lovely Genevive, who has done a wonderful job thus far. This means that from now on, all enquiries about your grow bags and raised beds will come from and/or should be directed to me – I can be contacted on 07745 477 230.

While I have your attention, I would like to take this opportunity to give advance notice of the September meeting which is to be held on MONDAY 5th SEPTEMBER 2011 at 1830, venue TBC. Agenda to include: the updating of the allotment rules, feedback from July TRA meeting from whoever went, where we are with money matters, a proposal that a one off ‘deposit’ be added to the yearly rents for keys – refundable when one leaves the allotment and their key is returned, protocol for non-payment of subs and harvest festival celebrations. Sooner than that, we have made plans to finally complete works on our ailing greenhouse. This will take place on SATURDAY 20th & SUNDAY 21st AUGUST 2011. Many hands make light work so please do come down, even if you can spare just an hour. Bring your strong arms, snacks and smiling faces.
